As fall approaches, more and more Canadians are booking cruises. In fact, according to the most recent Conference Board of Canada Report, outbound winter cruise intentions are at their highest in 5 years. The Canadian Cruise Market Outlook says 66% of travellers plan to buy travel health insurance for their winter cruise. While Emergency Medical insurance policies will cover their medical emergencies, Trip Cancellation/Interruption will address other concerns cruisers may have.

Canadians misinformed about earthquake coverage from government sources

The majority of Canadians included in a new survey believe that the government will provide financial assistance to homeowners and renters for damage from earthquakes.

Virtually all Canadians correctly assume that earthquakes can occur anywhere in the country but, a majority wrongly believes the government will provide financial assistance for earthquake damage.
